ABOUT

This firm was created to help develop a better way for start-up companies and entrepreneurs to work with lawyers.

Too many times I've heard entrepreneurs complain about the cost of legal help for sales deals.

In short, startups cannot afford high priced lawyers to cover their sales deals.  So they are left to paper deals with little or no help, or pay hourly rates that eat up a good amount of the income generated by the new business.

From a compliance perspective, many law firms can make the issues sound overly complicated and in many instances fail to deliver executable, practical advice.

This is where Upshot Law comes in.  We would like to see companies get proper value for legal dollars spent to help close new business, and get executable advice for compliance in the same way they would expect from their in-house legal team.  This is why we are open to fixed fee and other creative arrangements.  Better pay arrangements can allow for better lawyering - lawyering that includes striving for efficiency, improved processes, and training your team.

Still, at the core we like closing deals, and we look forward to assisting your company in whatever is needed to get your company in compliance and get your deals done.
